Therefore the Big Island provides diversified outdoor activities, from fishing, scuba diving and swimming in the ocean to skiing, horseback riding and hiking, from sailing in the sea to golfing on the green.

The following table lists locations of Big Island’s major golf courses and their detailed information. For other major U.S. golf courses refer to U.S. Golf Web Site.

Municipal, public, and military golf courses are noted. Other golf courses are private, but accept non-member tee times.
Greens fees are subject to change, and Hawaii’s golf courses have several pricing tiers. Prices vary for non-residents, non-US citizens, Hawaiian residents (kama`aina rate); seniors, juniors; weekdays, weekends, after 3PM; season; resort guest, visitor; etc., so it’s best to phone the course for up-to-date information and call early for tee times.
